As part of ongoing sustainability efforts, Allied Customer Solutions will work to the extent possible to recycle all paper, bottles, and cans and work towards recycling as many non-renewable resources as possible.
This organization will make the best possible efforts through the use of reusable products, the implementation of recycling programs, and waste prevention practices to reduce waste.
Allied Customer Solutions ownership, employees, and customers want to do business with companies that show sustainable stewardship through recycling, waste prevention, purchasing recycled-content products, and energy and water conservation. When possible, [ACSI] will place preference for doing business with companies and show excellence in sustainable operations.
The purpose of this recycling policy is to provide guidelines and goals for implementing a successful recycling system. Allied Collections Services Inc. intends to set-up and maintains a recycling system that is easy to use and involves, when necessary; property management, the recycling, and garbage company, and janitorial staff. Allied Collections Services Inc. also commits to maintaining successful waste prevention efforts.
Allied Customer Solutions has identified Teri Gaskins as the business recycling champion. Teri is the contact between Allied Collections Services inc. and the property management company (Mihata Family Trust), and associated shredding company will request that their garbage and recycling company provide the latest recycling service.
All Allied Customer Solutions employees are expected to support the recycling program by recycling all paper, bottles and cans, and any other materials collected for recycling within the business. Allied Collections Services Inc. commits to maintaining a convenient, well-labeled recycling system. Allied Collections Services Inc. will also identify opportunities to prevent waste by reusing and reducing materials used through operations and purchasing practices. Examples of waste prevention include: double-side copying and using durable dishware.
Allied Consumer Solutions also handles all electronics responsibly by recycling when possible. When recycling is not an option, the company handles all electronic waste with appropriate social responsibility.
